I’ve always found it difficult to get on with wearing florals, I’ve felt too girly and prissy whenever I’ve tried before. However this Autumn I’ve seen a whole new floral design coming onto the high street. The cuts and shapes are less floaty and frilly and more clean and simple, giving the florals a tougher edge than its previously romantic/boho counterparts. I’m therefore tempted to try the florals this season. As is always the case it really does depend on how the trend is styled and I love that the straighter floral styles work well with opposites. A chunky jumper worn with a classic cut pencil skirt and a suede biker jacket over a pretty floral shirt. It all adds a dramatic twist which I’m always looking for when I’m putting together my outfits. Here’s a few ways I’m looking to wear the Autumn florals this season.
